Terms of Use

whiland.co.uk is operated by William P. Whiland & Son Limited ("Whiland"), which is a company incorporated in Scotland (No. SC67185), with a Registered Office at 8 Alder Road, Broadmeadow Estate, Dumbarton, G82 2EL.

The following Terms of Use shall apply between you and Whiland for the sale and purchase of the product(s) contained in your order.

By ordering a product, you accept these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use are subject to change at any time, and without notice. We recommend you read this page carefully before ordering a product, in case of any changes.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The prices of our products are correct at the time of entry, however, we reserve the right to change prices without notice.

All products are usually dispatched within two ("2") days or three ("3") weeks for stair climbers. If we have insufficient stock to deliver the product(s) you have ordered, we will not charge your credit / debit card until your order is ready to be delivered to you.

Delivery is free within the United Kingdom.

You warrant that the information given with your order is complete and accurate.

When you have completed your order, you will be sent an email to confirm.

It will list the product(s) and invoice and delivery details. If your order has been unsuccessful, you will be made aware of the reason why.

Your credit / debit card is subject to validation checks and authorisation by its issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected if, for any reason, you wish to return a product bought from whiland.co.uk. You will have the right to cancel the purchase of any product from the time it is ordered to within seven ("7") working days of delivery (commencing the day after you receive the product). Should you cancel the contract, we will refund you the price you have paid for the product, including delivery charges. The product must be returned undamaged and unused.

Whiland shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver a product you have ordered, or any delay in doing so or for any damage to a product delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Subject to any relevant consumer protection legislation, including our obligation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, to give you a refund if you cancel your contract, or if we do not perform the contract within the thirty ("30") day or other agreed timescale, our liability for any breach of these Terms of Use shall be limited to the value of the product(s) ordered by you in the relevant transaction.

All contracts between you and Whiland shall be governed by Scots Law, and you and Whiland agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
