Length CalculatorUse this very simple calculator to find out what length of ramp you will need. Ramp length is determined by the degree of rise required. We recommended that ramps should be no more than a 1:12 slope (this means 1 " of rise for every 12 " of ramp length). A 1:12 slope would be a 4.8° angle. However, a steeper rise is often perfectly acceptable. With care taken, a 1:6 slope (9.6° angle) is safe. The longest Roll-a-Ramp we stock is 396.0 cm (13 ') long. However, these ramps can be easily combined to create a maximum length of 609.6 cm (20 '). A pair of Roll-a-Ramp centre support stands will be required.
