MODULAR RAMPSThe highest quality, most versatile modular ramp system available. There are 3 main components to our modular ramps: The modules, the handrails and the legs.
All ramp layouts are designed to comply with Building Regulations and our installations have a 3-year warranty as standard. Whiland also provides a demounting and storage service. We can store your parts free of charge until they can be used in another installation. Whiland can also manufacture and install bespoke access solutions.
MODULESWhiland module frames are manufactured using galvanised mild steel and the ramp surface is GRP, which is totally non-slip.
The system is completely modular, and a ramp is made up from individual modules which are fitted together. The modules come in standard widths and sizes. However, we can also make bespoke sizes if necessary. Steps and gates are also available and are also fully reusable and interchangeable.
Every part of our ramp system is re-usable without any rework required. This means that parts can be fitted, stay in situ for months or years, and then removed when no longer required. The parts can then be stored for re use in another installation. This can provide significant savings for customers such as Local Authorities who have an on going need for disabled access at many properties. The re use of ramps parts is an environmentally friendly solution which can contribute to lowering the environmental impact of single use products that are scrapped after one installation.
HANDRAILSWhiland‘s unique handrail design is not only aesthetically pleasing but all handrails have warm touch top rails as standard.
The handrails are fully enclosed and have child safe vertical infills which prevent limbs from becoming trapped. The handrails are interchangeable with the module sections and are fully reusable and re-locatable.
LEGSWhiland modular ramps are supported by height-adjustable levelling legs. This unique design allows the ramps to sit over existing steps without the need for any alterations. Our legs are fully reusable.
RAMP FITTERSAll our ramp fitters are employed by the Company, we do not use sub contractors to fit any of our ramps.
